Regionality’s ABDP

With more than 15 years of experience under our belts, Regionality’s Agritourism Business Development Program (ABDP) has helped hundreds of farmers and agritourism operators learn about tourism, brand development and plan an agritourism venture in a way that compliments their core business of farming.

Just announced for 2024

We’re thrilled to confirm TWO five-day residential programs coming up later this year:

Northern Rivers, NSW: 12-16 August
Yarrawonga, VIC: 2-6 September

Participants will travel to their selected program for our full intensive program including workshops and case study site visits, plus access to Regionality’s online learning portal for self-paced learning prior to and following the residential, group online webinars and one-on-one mentoring. Upon completion of the program, businesses will have completed a business plan, ready for implementation.

These five-day residential programs are purposefully located near regional hubs to facilitate easy travel whilst allowing participants to discover and learn from established agritourism case studies.

The ABDP will give participants the skills needed to operate an agritourism business.

You’ll develop your business concepts and ideas around viability, desirability and feasibility, with a focus on YOUR business and personal goals, and the needs of your ideal consumer and visitor segments.

Whether it’s a new venture, an innovation or renewal, we have a number of programs available to suit you and your business.

3 day face-to-face intensive	Participants will receive a modified version of our full program delivered as an intensive face-to-face program over three days	Individual farmers, groups of farmers in a particular region
5-day residential program	Participants will travel to a scheduled destination in an identified case study region for our full intensive program including workshops and case study site visits. Participants also get access to Regionality’s online learning portal for self-paced learning prior to and following the residential, group online webinars and one-on-one mentoring. Regional Agritourism Acceleration Program	Our flagship Agritourism Business Development Program plus mentoring and stakeholder engagement delivered over a 12-month period, in-region.
