We work holistically to connect the agri-food and -tourism sectors, building the capacity of food producers/farmers and tourism businesses. We work with area stakeholders to create regional food systems and farm-to-plate practices that elevate and celebrate the attributes of each region.

Farm to Plate Program

Consumers want to know more about how and by whom their food is produced and how it travels from the farm gate to their plate. Our food innovation program works with individual businesses or with a group to investigate ways to innovate food products, through value adding or the experience economy.

Culinary tourism: the art of experiencing regional food and drink with provenance

Many tourism and hospitality businesses serve food. We can help you elevate a standard offering to a culinary experience or innovate your offering to attract higher yield visitors and customers. We can work with restaurants, farms, cellar doors or tour companies one on one or with a collection of businesses in a regional destination.

Food systems facilitation

Our Regional Food System approach works with regions to develop their supply, distribution and demand for fresh and value-added produce, in a framework that maintains provenance and connects businesses across the farm-to-plate value chain. We are experienced in bringing together businesses, facilitating collaboration to break down the barriers and creating economic and logistic efficiencies to support sourcing, distributing and showcasing regional produce and food experiences.
