THE 2021 STORY

In 2021 Scenic Rim in South East Queensland provided an inspirational backdrop for over 160 delegates who came together to gain insight from legendary speakers, share their stories and meet new friends. Don’t take our word for it….

OCTOBER 2025

TASMANIAN ROAD TRIP

Following the success of Regionality’s FARM2PLATE EXCHANGE events in 2019 and 2021, the team is taking Farm2Plate Exchange “On the Road” in 2025 to explore Tasmania’s Quiet Pursuit of the Extraordinary. Instead of convening in one location, we will flip the concept of Farm2Plate Exchange by visiting our keynote speakers and case studies in their domain, on their farms and businesses. We will travel to some of Tasmania’s most spectacular regions and visit leaders in farming, food and drink production and learn from the best this innovative state has to offer.

You’re invited to join a small group of producers to explore Tasmania’s industry landscape. Participants will explore the program theme, exchanging knowledge and ideas, and learning from some exciting leaders and innovators along the way.

The first program of its type under Regionality’s well-known FARM2PLATE EXCHANGE brand, the ON THE ROAD itinerary has been specifically designed as a next-level, immersive and hands-on learning experience with behind-the-scenes access to some of Tasmania’s most exciting agricultural innovators, agritourism farms and artisan producers.

FARM2PLATE EXCHANGE ON THE ROAD will be delivered by Rose Wright and the Regionality team, and will include:

  • A small group setting to allow opportunities for connection and collaboration
  • A jam-packed, curated itinerary going behind-the-scenes and showcasing leading farming and value chain businesses in beef, dairy, sheep and wool, pork, aquaculture, apiary, horticulture, viticulture, distilling, agritourism and more.
  • Some of the key subjects will include
  • Value adding and diversification
  • Successful value chain partnerships
  • Succession planning
  • Innovation and diversification
  • Brand development and marketing
  • Peer-to-peer learning and access to guest speakers providing insight into their business journeys
  • And then there’s the unforgettable regional food experiences created by passionate people, telling the story of local produce.
